It has been years since Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling revealed that fan favorite character and headmaster of Hogwarts Albus Dumbledore was gay, and it has been a revelation that shocked the literary world. While a lot of fans embraced the writer's decision to make one of her leading character gay, some still can't get over it.

According to E! News, Twitter user Frank called out Rowling, saying that once she made the confession about Albus's lifestyle he stopped supporting the series.

"Once u revealed Dumbledore was homosexual I stopped being a fan," the ex-supporter tweeted. "Nice how u blindsided us with that one. Enjoy your billion $ (sic)."

Rowling was quick to respond saying, "I advise you to start following Brian Souter at once. He's much more your kind of person."

In her message Rowling is referring to Souter, who is the mind behind a campaign that he financed, which is to try to maintain bans in schools regarding homosexuality.

"I want to thank all the people tweeting me lovely messages. Don't worry about me," the author explained, after receiving an outpouring of support. "To paraphrase Albus Dumbledore... If you're waiting for universal popularity, you'll be on Twitter a VERY long time. Xxxx"

The star revealed Dumbledore's sexuality back in 2007 during a Questions & Answer when she was busy promoting the seventh book in the Harry Potter series.

"I always thought of Dumbledore as gay," she explained. "If I had known this would have made you so happy, I would have told you years ago."

Frank has since deleted his Twitter account, but not before posting one final message. "I made a comment about JKR + her homosexual wizard and my twitter account exploded," he explained. "EXCUSE ME for NOT accepting that deviant lifestyle lol."
