'Doctor Who' Season 8 Episodes, Rumors & Spoilers: Jenna Coleman Addresses Quitting Speculation - Says 'There's A Big Surprise Coming' For Clara

Earlier this year, rumors about the future of Doctor Who made Whovians worry about companion Clara Oswald. Reports claimed actress Jenna Coleman was planning on leaving the series later this year, in one of the season 8 episodes. While the BBC hasn't addressed these rumors, a new interview with Coleman teased some huge surprises and spoilers for the upcoming series episodes!

"We've sat down with Steven Moffat and we've all decided we don't want anybody to know which way it's going," Coleman said, according to Radio Times. "If you know I'm in the next series, or if you know I'm off, you'll know how the story ends."

This is obviously a good point. If she quits or leaves the show, then we'll all know that Clara will have to die or be written off - which is a huge spoiler to know right now.

"It's one of those jobs that will only happen once - the whole adventure that it brings," she said of her role, possibly dismissing the quitting rumors. "The key is not to worry about the future and enjoy it."

Meanwhile, the addition of Danny Pink in the show, played by actor Samuel Anderson, has opened up a new relationship for Clara.

"We do see Clara beginning to fall for Danny," Coleman hints. "There's a big surprise we've got coming. It's much better than nobody knows which way it's going to go, so that's where we're trying to keep it at the moment."
