The Kansas City Royals battle the Detroit Tigers in Game 2 of the series on Tuesday, September 9 at 7:08 p.m. EST at Comerica Park. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the evening baseball game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.

The Tigers currently lead the series 1-0.

The Royals currently snag the no. 6 spot in Joel Reuter's official MLB power rankings for Bleacher Report with a 79-63 winning record:

"The Royals took care of business with series wins against the Texas Rangers and New York Yankees last week, and they hold a two-game lead in the AL Central standings heading into this week.

They have a 2.96 ERA as a team in the second half, while saving an MLB-best 21 games in 24 chances, as the pitching staff remains the clear strength of this club. The rotation is solid one through five, and it's capable of shortening games with the trio of Kelvin Herrera, Wade Davis and Greg Holland at the back of the pen.

Eric Hosmer was 4-for-21 with a pair of doubles in his first week back after missing 28 games with a stress fracture in his hand. If he can get things rolling at the plate, that would certainly provide a spark for the stretch run."

Meanwhile, the Tigers hold the no. 8 spot with a 79-65 winning record (out of 30 teams):

"The Tigers took three of four from a surging Indians team in Cleveland to open last week but dropped their weekend series with the San Francisco Giants. They remain two games back in the AL Central and a half-game out of the No. 2 wild-card spot.

The recent struggles of the starting rotation are concerning, but the offense has done its best to step up and shoulder the load. After posting a pedestrian .729 OPS while battling a groin injury last September, Miguel Cabrera is as hot as any hitter in the final month so far this year.

Big picture, though, the rotation has to get on track. Two quality starts in seven games is not going to cut it, considering the starters the Tigers have at their disposal and how shaky their bullpen has been all year.

They open the week with a three-game series against the Kansas City Royals at home and look to catch them in the division standings."

The ballgame will be broadcasted live on FSKC and FSDT, but fans can listen in on the radio at KFEQKKOW, 97.1 The Ticket, and WMKT.
