The latest release date news for Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor will certainly have some gamers pretty sad. According to a new announcement from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, the Last-Gen release of this title has been pushed back to Nov. 18 in the States, about 2 months after the Next-Gen release date: September 30, 2014.
PlayStation 4 and Xbox One gamers not only get to experience the Next-Gen features of the game, but they get to play the game earlier!
The only explanation for the delay is the fact that they will apparently "take more time in development." The good news is the PS4 and Xbox One versions are still coming on September 30 (except in the UK, where it's October 3), when they'll be joined by the PC and Steam releases globally.
This news might not affect you, but we all know there are plenty of gamers that haven't graduated to the Next-Gen consoles. Considering Shadow of Mordor is one of the biggest games of the year, we think that the wait could be worth it - no matter how painful it is for these players.
Whether you're waiting for Sept. 30 of Nov. 18, depending on your console, you can still enjoy plenty of gameplay videos that are around the Internet. In fact, we recently wrote about a 25-minute walkthrough gameplay video! Check it out right HERE!
