The late Whitney Houston's 19-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown has called of wedding plans with childhood friend Nick Gordon.
Brown, who lost her mother from an accidental bathtub drowning early this year in February, has announced that her and hubby Gordon have "mutually" decided to postpone their wedding, but they are still currently dating and living together (as reported by HollywoodLife.com).
Houston acted as a second-mother to Gordon while growing up, caring and providing for him although no official adoption was ever made. Following her death, Brown and Gordon began a romantic relationship.
A source close to the couple told HollywoodLife, "Bobbi and Nick really love each other, but they just can't figure out how they want to define their relationship. Bobbi felt like she got swept up in the moment because she was going through a lot of emotions after Whitney's death. But they're in love and still together, just not engaged."
The love does still seem to be going strong between the two, given Brown's recent tweets on Twitter, including:
@REALbkBrown: "Your genuine L O V E is what keeps me going. (: @NickDGordon" (July 28).
Attached to the tweet is this picture of the couple's interlocked hands, with Brown flaunting her dazzling engagement ring:
Brown, who recently appeared in a July episode of TBS'" Tyler Perry's For Better or Worse," is the daughter of the late R&B songstress Whitney Houston and R&B/rap artist Bobby Brown.
Currently, Brown and Gordon are said to be renovating their Atlanta home while filming their new reality series, "The Houston Family Chronicles." Brown is also rumored to be releasing an album soon.
