The iPhone 6 was just revealed yesterday and the new features of the phone sent the Internet into a straight up frenzy. Apple unveiled the new features during a press conference on September 9, and from what we can tell the phone is going to be pretty interesting.
For one, the new accessory will feature a mobile payment system, according to Time, which will basically replace your wallet. Apple pay will allow the user to pay for things straight from their phone by tapping the iPhone against a sensor during checkout.
Another awesome feature of the phone will be the upgraded cameras, which are reportedly the best and most advanced cameras of any iPhone yet. It will have eight megapixels, which is pretty much the same size as our huge digital camera from our college days, and will include all new focus features.
Also, the improved battery life feature might just be the whole incentive for us to trade in our old iPhone for this new upgrade. The iPhone 6 can last up to 10 days on standby, where as the iPhone 6 plus can last up to 18 days on standby, pretty impressive.
Plus there is a huge improvement in storage. In addition to the 16 GB and 64 GB models there is now a 128 GB phone, which will keep us from running out of memory and being forced to delete our music and pictures on a daily basis.
The press conference polarized audience members into two groups either they loved the new updates or they hate them.
