The Band Perry is ready for a baby ... well, they are ready to babysit! The musical group is offering up their babysitting services to friend and fellow country music singer Carrie Underwood.
Carrie Underwood and husband Mike Fisher are still celebrating the fact that they are having their first child together, but they already have friends lining up to babysit their bundle of joy.
"We told them we would babysit if they ever need us to, so we are here, give us a call," Kimberly Perry told E! News at the Fashion Rocks 2014 event at Brooklyn's Barclays Center last night.
The singing trio revealed they actually knew about Carrie's baby news before she released it to the public and they couldn't be happier for her and Mike.
"Well, you know Carrie is a dear friend of ours and she was at my wedding, she and Mike. We actually heard the news a little bit early before the rest of the world did and we are just so thrilled for them," Kimberly told the station.
"They are such great human beings and they are going to be great parents," she added.
Even though Kimberly and her brothers Neil and Reed would happily babysit, she explained that she isn't ready to add a baby to her own family just yet. Kimberly got married to professional baseball player J.P. Arencibia in July, but she's focusing on her music and the band before thinking about a baby.
"We are working towards our third record now, but I am sure somewhere down the line that will be happening. In country music apparently that's going to be a big deal in the next year, so we'll see what will be happening," she told E! News.
If Kimberly did decide to have a baby this year, she would be in good company. Besides her friend Carrie, American Idol alum Kelly Clarkson just welcomed a baby girl, and Dave Haywood of Lady Antebellum became a father this week. In addition to singers, news broke this week that both Liv Tyler and Sara Gilbert are pregnant.
