Scandal Season 4 Spoilers: First Look at Portia De Rossi

Portia De Rossi joined Season 4 of ABC's Scandal several weeks ago, but her role has been kept tightly under wraps ever since the announcement. But now fans can get a first look at the actress on the Shonda Rhimes series.

E! Online posted two photos of De Rossi filming the show with a mystery man, whom the site says bears a striking resemblance to Mistresses and Teen Wolf actor Matthew Del Negro. You can view these photos at the top of the page.

Ellen Degeneres announced De Rossi's participation on the show via Twitter.

In related news, one of the most shocking moments in the Season 3 finale of Scandal occurred when President Grant's son Jerry died while Fitz was giving a speech. This event is sure to have repercussions in Season 4, and Tony Goldwyn, who plays Fitz, confirmed that hi character will still be suffering when the show returns.

The "Mega Buzz" column at TV Guide reports the following scoop from the man himself.

"Hold off on Olivia-Fitz 'shipping for now. While Liv is relaxing on the beach, Fitz and Mellie will still be grieving Jerry's death, which won't be resolved any time soon. 'It's a huge struggle,' Tony Goldwyn tells us. 'And with the absence of Olivia, emotionally, Fitz is trying to adjust to this new reality. ... It's not about moving forward on their marriage; it's about getting through today. It kind of goes into territory that's deeper and different and unexpected for Scandal.'"
