Arrow Season 3 Spoilers: New Photos Show First Look at Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer

Fans already know that Season 3 of the CW's Arrow will feature some new faces, one of whom is Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer aka The Atom. Now, we have a first-look photo at the Superman Returns actor on the show!

TVLine posted some new photos to its Arrow Season 3 gallery, including one of Routh in a scene with Emily Bett Rickards and Stephen Amell. We've already heard that Ray and Felicity have a bit of a spark, and executive producer Marc Guggenheim offers a bit more information to TVLine about Routh's character.

"Ray is a businessman instead of a professor, more of an entrepreneur," he said. As for the Atom part of his personality, "Part of the fun is seeing how, or even if, a character reaches the end of that trajectory," Guggenheim teased, "because as we've proven, we like to play around with it a bit."

The gallery also contains some new photos Diggle (David Ramsey), who found out in the Season 2 finale he was going to be a father. "Episode 3, titled 'Corto Maltese.' is a really big Dig episode," executive producer Andrew Kreisberg told TVLine. Oliver's sidekick will help his ex-wife, Lyla, find a rogue agent. "It's really about the fact that he has a daughter now - how does that affect how he feels about the world and what he's doing with Oliver?"

"Where Diggle is going this season is going to be really great," Kreisberg said.
