Manchester United sold Cristiano Ronaldo hoping to one day resign him from Real Madrid, and they may get the chance in the near future. It's reported that the superstar is trying to force a move to the Premier League, with United his preferred team to join, however, moneybags Chelsea and Manchester City may look to enter the transfer battle too, making it a war to sign the talented attacker. On top of that United are looking to sell Juan Mata and would like to sign Kevin Strootman and some defenders. Which deals will they do, and when?
Ronaldo, 29, is supposedly frustated with life in Spain, and he misses England. He wants to return to his old club, United, but if a deal cannot be brokered, then he would consider joining City or Chelsea. It's believed one of the clubs are willing to pay near $750,000 per week to ensure he decides against rejoining the Red Devils.
Would the huge fees attached to signing the star be far too much for a player nearing the end of his career? United are hoping to sign him, but they know they have an abundance of attacking talents, and they're also trying to bring in defensive reinforcements, sell Mata, and bring in the midfield-enforcer to complete their team, in Strootman.
Should Ronaldo come back to England, and which team should he pick, and why? Ronaldo will come back eventually, but how much of an impact will he have as he moves ever closer towards the end of his career?
