‘Mad Men’ Star Kevin Rahm And His Wife Welcome Their First Baby Girl [PHOTO]

Congratulations are in order... Mad Men actor Kevin Rahm is officially a father!

The Mad Men actor and his wife Amy Lonkar welcomed their first child together, a baby girl, into the world on Saturday. The 43-year-old actor shared the joyful news with his fans and friends by announcing it on Twitter.

"My new favorite Human. Thank you @UCDavisChildren for your amazing staff and excellent care," the Desperate Housewives actor wrote. The actor also shared a photo of him and his newborn daughter together. Kevin is kissing his adorable little girl, while holding her close to him in the photo on Saturday.

Fans took to Twitter to share their well wishes with the new family. Through the tweets back with the Kevin, his daughter's name was revealed. Say hello to baby girl, Hunter! Actress and Indie film producer, Elizabeth Karr tweeted back and forth with Kevin and ended her statement saying, "@KevinRahm I can imagine! Hunter is beautiful. @UCDavisChildren."

Kevin, who plays Ted Chaough on the AMC show, initially announced his wife was pregnant on Twitter in April by sharing a movie-style poster of the happy couple. The poster read, "Amy Rahm 'The Surgeon' and Kevin Rahm 'The Actor' Starring together in It's a Girl! Coming this September." The picture along with the caption, "Oh yeah... This is happening," was the adorable couple's way of telling the world about their happy news. After celebratory tweets from friends and fans, Kevin responded, "so excited and terrified." Kevin might have been terrified before his daughter was born, but based on the sweet picture he shared this weekend, he already seems to be a natural father.
