The September 15, 2014 edition of WWE's Monday Night Raw emanates live from the Cajundome in Lafayette, Louisiana and begins with a promo from Paul Heyman, who hypes how his client, the reigning and defending WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar, will again brutalize John Cena at Night of Champions on Sunday.

Cena's music hits and he heads to the ring. He asks Heyman where Lesnar is. Heyman tries to talk his way out of the situation but Cena cuts him off. Heyman smiles and asks if Cena is sure he wants to fight Lesnar tonight for free because he would rather make the fans pay $9.99 to watch it on the WWE Network. He hypes Lesnar's entrance but then laughs. He says Lesnar flies on a private plane, which has been delayed, so he will be here later tonight.

Heyman says he thinks Cena knew that and called him out now because he doesn't actually want to fight him. Heyman tries to leave but Cena grabs him by the shoulder and tells him he's full of it. Cena says Heyman has until "halftime" to produce Lesnar or else he's going to kick his ass. Heyman says he will let Cena know when Lesnar arrives. He tries to leave but Cena runs out and gets in his way. He says he does not trust Heyman and drags him to the back under his arm.

We see footage of Cena locking Heyman in his locker room. He has The Great Khali guard the door and gives him instructions in Punjabi.

Chris Jericho faces Corporate Kane and earns the win with a roll up after bouncing Kane off a turnbuckle that the Big Red Machine exposed.

Heyman is in Cena's locker room and tries to speak to Lesnar but he has no cell phone reception.

Renee Young interviews Roman Reigns, who says he will punch Seth Rollins' face in until his knuckles bleed when they face off later tonight.

Jack Swagger (w/Zeb Colter) defeats Bo Dallas with the Patriot Lock.

Paige and Nikki Bella defeat AJ Lee and Brie Bella after Brie tries to tag in AJ but Nikki pulls her off the ropes. Paige then plants Brie with the Rampaige for the pin. The two were in the match almost the entire time and Nikki never officially got involved. She hits Brie with her finisher after the match. Paige skips in the ring with the belt while AJ skips around the ring.

Bray Wyatt cuts a promo from his dark area backstage before a match with Big Show.

Heyman asks Khali if he can step outside the room to try to call Lesnar, but Khali grabs him and smashes his phone.

Big Show wins by DQ when Luke Harper breaks up a pinfall attempt after the Final Cut. Show chokeslams Harper and Erick Rowan as Wyatt laughs in his chair.

The Usos and Sheamus defeat Goldust, Stardust and Cesaro when one of the Usos hits Cesaro with a splash off the top turnbuckle.

Renee Young interviews Randy Orton, who says he's going to deliver a beating to Chris Jericho at Night of Champions.

Cena goes to his locker room and drags Heyman out to the ring. He grabs a mic and says this is the moment everyone has been waiting for. Heyman tries to crawl out of the ring but Cena grabs him. Heyman goes from scared to confident as he calls "Hustle, Loyalty and Respect" a sham. He says Cena will have to become a beast to beat the Beast, and he will be the one to bring the dark side out of Cena.

He tries several tactics to get Cena to turn but fails each time. He again says "Hustle, Loyalty and Respect" is what keeps Cena's dark side in check and it's why he won't beat Brock Lesnar.

Heyman taunts him some more and makes a comment about Cena's mother. Cena tosses him out of the ring and throws his hat at him. Lesnar comes out to a huge pop and Cena readies for a fight. Lesnar circles the ring and picks up Heyman. Cena taunts him but Lesnar doesn't bite. He slings the title belt over his shoulder and walks away. But then he laughs, shrugs, hands his belt to Heyman and walks back to the ring.

The two come to blows and Lesnar plants Cena with a German suplex. Cena rolls outside the ring but he recovers and gets in some shots on Lesnar. The two brawl outside the ring and Cena has the upper hand. Officials come and separate the two.

Naomi defeats her former fellow Funkadactyl Cameron.

Dolph Ziggler and R-Truth defeat The Miz and Damien Sandow when Miz accidentally hits Sandow in the face and Ziggler plants Miz with the Zig Zag.

Tom Phillips interviews Seth Rollins backstage, and Mr. Money in the Bank says Roman Reigns is one of the most naturally gifted athletes in WWE history, but he's nothing without Rollins.

Reigns defeats Rollins when he dodges the Curb Stomp and drills Rollins with the spear at the end of a solid match between the two former friends.

Mark Henry comes out to rally America. He talks about his experience at the 1996 Olympics and says he cannot fail against Rusev on Sunday. He and Lana eventually come out to ruin the rally. Lana points out Henry lost in the 1992 Olympics, but Russia's Aleksandr Kurlovich won. She insults Henry a bit more, and Henry starts the Pledge of Allegiance. Rusev attacks him in the middle of it. Henry gains the upper hand briefly but Rusev superkicks him. He tries to lock in the Accolade but Henry powers out and plants Rusev to the mat. He tosses him outside the ring and waves the American flag as the show goes off the air.
