'Facts Of LIfe' Reunion At PaleyFest- Including Lisa Whelchel, Charlotte Rae, Nancy McKeon, & Geri Jewell

Are you ready to get a lesson in The Facts Of Life? The stars of the 80s sitcom reunited earlier this week at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills to preview the start of the 2014 Television season during PaleyFest 2014 as well as to celebrate their show's anniversary. Stars Mindy Cohn, Geri Jewell, Lisa Whelchel, Charlotte Rae, and Nancy McKeon were in attendance to celebrate the 35^th anniversary of their hit TV series, which ran from 1979-88.

It has been 35 years since the show premiered and it seemed like no one wanted to focus on the number. Stars Whelchel and McKeon kept joking throughout the panel discussion that they didn't want to bring attention to the fact that it had been so many years.

When the moderator brought up the number Whelchel, who played Blair Warner on the series said, "That's a terrible way to start things off," while Mckeon (Jo Polniaczek) also joking stated, "Why is everyone saying that so slowly, say it faster," about anyone who brought up the number 35.

The panel lasted for two hours and stars Charlotte Rae (Edna Garrett), Mindy Cohn (Natalie Green) and Geri Jewell ("Cousin" Geri) reminisced about the old times. While star Kim Fields, who played Tootie Ramsey couldn't be with the girls, she did record a video message for them and the fans.

The girls talked about topics such as how they got their parts, Whelchel's kiss with George Clooney, and Jewell being the first person with a disability to be casted as a regular role on a primetime show.
