Rapper Macklemore is NOT dead.

Apparently several Twitter fans already know this, but think it's funny to popularize the trend #RIPMacklemore. Check it out:
@goodassposts: "#ripmacklemore sorry to hear about the Death of Macklemore. I guess his toe is gonna pop some tags."
@Ryan_Patricks: "#RIPMacklemore Today we lost a national treasure. Off to that big thrift shop in the sky."
@DanMentos: "Ten years ago we had Steve Jobs, Bob Hope, and Macklemore. Now we have no hope, no jobs, no mackle, no more #ripmacklemore."
@sneeky: "#RIPMacklemore We only wanted him to mackle less, not stop mackling completely. A truly sad day."
@WildeThingy: "Until his untimely death, I'd always assumed Macklemore was a famed fisherman. Cast your net wide my friend, cast it wide. #ripmacklemore."
@crunkdumpster: "#ripmacklemore so sad to find out that you got run over by an off-black Cadillac, midnight drive."
@J_M_Cook: "For the people saying #RIPMacklemore isn't real, he hasn't tweeted in a day. Case closed, my dudes. Please respect the family at this time."
@susnosebleed: "#RipMacklemore he was so young.. So white..."
@J_M_Cook: "#RIPMacklemore he'll be mackling with the angels now."
@Ironghazi: "Wow I guess he really is Mackleing less now #RIPMacklemore."
Okay, some of these mockful tweets are pretty funny, but celebrity death hoaxes are definitely not amusing.
Not sure how this all got started - there's no bogus obituary report currently going viral on the web.
Just some fans "mackleing" off, apparently.
But just to be clear - Ryan Lewis' rap partner is not dead.
