Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) departed for parts unknown in the Season 7 finale of The Big Bang Theory after his life started to unravel around him rapidly. We still don't know exactly where the physicist went on his trip, but we do know that he runs into some unfortunate circumstances in the Season 8 premiere. But how does he also wind up getting on the bad side of his girlfriend, Amy (Mayim Bialik), in the process?
The "Mega Buzz" column at TV Guide has the answer.
"What's going to happen on The Big Bang Theory premiere? - Stephanie
Poor Sheldon gets robbed on his road trip, but the real drama is what happens afterward. He calls Leonard instead of Amy to come pick him up. 'That hurts her feelings,' executive producer Steve Molaro tells us. 'The good news is that it's a conversation that is had and addressed in a fairly sweet moment.'"
Leave it to Sheldon to somehow anger his girlfriend after he was robbed in an unfamiliar location. But it's also not surprising to learn they will share a tender moment, as we've seen them have a few in the past, including the kiss on the train on Valentine's Day.
What do you think, Big Bang Theory fans? How does Sheldon manage to get robbed during his road trip? Why do you think he calls Leonard instead of Amy? How do you think he works out the situation with her? Let us know your thoughts and guesses in the comments section.
