Following the controversy surrounding Chick-fil-A restaurants after its president Don Cathy publically condemned gay marriage based on religious principles, people have taken to social media and networking sites to voice their protests.

Many members of the LGBT community have begun posting pictures of themselves making out in front of Chick-fil-A restaurants nationwide. Now singers of the Atlanta, GA alternative punk garage band Black Lips have joined in on the demonstrations. Cole Alexander and Jared Swilley posted a picture of themselves on the Black Lip's Twitter page mid-kiss along with the post:

@TheBlackLips: "Black lips headed to chick fil a! Can't decide what's gonna taste better, A chicken sandwich, or Jared's tongue shoved down my throat."

Jared Swilley is the son of mega-church pastor Jim Swilley, who came out as gay in 2010.

As an extra kick Alexander then posted,  "I wish i looked romantic in that shot. -¢ I."

What a way to show their support.
