Jessica Sanchez Turns 17, Blujays Wish Her Happy Jayday

"Jessica Sanchez Birthday Countdown" trended on Twitter the night before her birthday on August 4th.  The American Idol season 11 runner-up turns 17.

The 17-year-old is now busy on the American Idol Live summer tour and will be celebrating the special date with her Idol family.  

Fellow idol singers and Blujays have tweeted sweet messages of support for the young Filipina-Mexican American songstress.

Sanchez retweeted boyfriend DeAndre Brackensick's message, "happy birthday babii:)"

A Blujay wrote in response, "Love each other. Blujays and Dre Dreamers too :-)"

"Happy birthday @JSanchezAI11 skinny Minnie;-). Love you girl!" wrote Colton Dixon.

"happy birthday to the upcoming legend," another blujay tweeted.

Sanchez revealed gratitude towards her family, friends and blujays.

"Thank you for all the birthday wishes! :) I love you guys so much! <3," the singer tweeted.

She will be releasing her first studio album under Interscope this year.  Rumors are also flying regarding her appearance on the popular TV series Glee.
