While audiences are anxiously waiting for the fifth season of AMC's The Walking Dead to start, actor Norman Reedus will be paying tribute to the loyal viewers with a wonderfully designed art book. With the proceeds going to charity, Thanks For All the Niceness gathers all the fan artwork dedicated to his popular character, Daryl Dixon.
The Wall Street Journal reports the art book will be distributed through Reedus' self-publishing imprint, Big Bald Books. This isn't the first time The Blade II actor has released a collection like this. The Deuces Wild shared his own photography in the book entitled, The Sun's Coming Up...Like a Big Bald Head.
According to the website's synopsis, the compilation has gathered tattoo designs, cakes, pencil sketches, and mosaics. The Mimic actor himself picked out the pieces that appear in the book, which was no easy task. Over 3,000 pieces from Japan, Mexico, and Brazil were submitted for the collection. The cover even features a figurine of Daryl on top of a wedding cake.
Proceeds from the fan art book will be donated to The Bachmann Strauss Dystonia and Parkinson Foundation. One of the Boondock Saints' friends has dystonia, which is a neurological movement disorder that causes uncontrollable and painful spasms. The theme of the collection is to raise awareness on the important cause.
