Conor was born on July 25, 1994, which makes him 18.  He is four years younger than Swift.

He is the eldest son of four siblings.

His mother Mary Richardson died on May 16, 2012 after hanging herself in a barn in the midst of divorce proceedings with Conor's father Robert Kennedy.

Conor met Swift through his aunt Rory, who had attended a concert of Swift's with her two daughters.
