Keyshia Cole Arrested Amid Daniel Gibson Break-Up Scandal: Sabrina Mercadel Assault At Boyfriend Birdman's Condo, 'Jealous' Cheating Rumors False?

Rumors suggest that following her highly-publicized break-up with NBA baller Daniel Gibson, R&B beauty Keyshia Cole began dating Cash Money Records rapper, Birdman. Apparently, Cole has a mean jealous streak, and doesn't want ANY other female hanging around her man.

Or else she will attack.

According to TMZ and several other gossip sources, the 32-year-old "Love" songstress assaulted a woman recently identified as Sabrina Mercadel at Birdman's luxurious WEST LA condo early Friday morning (Sept. 19).

Cole was arrested and ultimately thrown in jail for the violent attack.

The infamous gossip webloid reveals that although "unofficial," Cole and Birdman have been dating for quite awhile now. Boobie's ex arrived (apparently unexpected) to the Bigga Than Life emcee's swanky condominium in the wee hours of Friday morning (5 a.m.). And Mercadel was already there, ready to shack-up and spend the evening...

Cole was not happy.

It remains unknown why security allowed Cole up to the penthouse with no warning to Birdman - maybe she's a frequent visitor.

Details surrounding the attack remain hazy, but Cole allegedly "went crazy" and left scratch marks all over Mercadel's face. Cops were finally called, and Cole was booked for "battery and an outstanding reckless driving warrant." She was later released on a $46,000 bail.

The singer's reps have yet to comment, but HipHopWired claims that Birdman probably wasn't even "hooking-up" with Mercadel.

Because she's a dedicated member of the Cash Money team and has been working there for about a decade. She's known Birdman since they were young.

And the two weren't even alone - at least four other individuals were there at the time of the attack. So it's unlikely that the longtime co-workers were trying to fool around behind Cole's back.

Still, the Point of No Return songstress unexpectedly "attacked" when Mercadel was trying to walk out of the bathroom.

Earlier this month, Cole admitted that she "forgave" Gibson for his cheating ways, but would never "accept" it. The ex-couple has yet to divorce.
