Lollapalooza will make it's next summer music festival destination at Tel Aviv, Israel, said Perry Farrell.  Farrell founded Lollapalooza in Chicago in 1991 by Jane's Addiction lead singer Perry Farrell.  Many international bands will join the lineup for the U.S.-based music festival.

It was announced at a press conference that Lollapalooza 2013 is expected to be held on August 20-24.

Farrell said at the conference that as "a musician, I really missed the days when we were on the move. In the last few years we've widened our scope, presenting Lolla to the 'festival generation' around the world. Next stop- Tel Aviv."

Marc Geiger of WME Entertainment believes that Israel will be shot spot for the festival.  It will be the first major music festival to take place in Israel.

Ilan Elkayam of Plug Productions believes that Lollapalooza will be "a watershed event, that will change the face of musical culture in Israel."
