Looks like your favorite Disney film, Frozen may be on thin ice! MStars News has learned that the hit film is being sued!! If you thought the movie was about an ice princess and a talking snowman...think again.
One woman is revealing that Frozen is an actually true life story, and is wanting $250 million in a new lawsuit. Author, Isabella Tanikumi claims that the hit Disney movie is not based on the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale, The Snow Queen...she insists that it is based off of her 2010 autobiography, which talks about growing up in the Andean mountains of Peru.
According to the Hollywood Gossip, the lawsuit does not go into details about which elements of her story she feels that Disney took.
Tanikumi says that the people over at Disney plagiarized and copied her story, characters, and plots right from her book. She says after the copied her story they turned it into Frozen, and became successful.
Who wouldn't want to sue, Frozen is after-all the highest grossing animated movie of all time! After taking a quick view of Tanikumi's book, TMZ claims that they didn't see a talking snowman character.
