Adam Levine Calls Music Critics 'F**king Idiots'

Adam Levine of Maroon 5 is not afraid to bite back.  The latest album Overexposed has been criticized by some music critics for its overly pop sound, but the sexy frontman is not buying the reviews.  

"Music critics are all f**king idiots", he said in a recent interview with Inked Magazine.

Levine explained that the purpose of the band's music is not to reach a small niche.  

"I get off on that ability to connect with a large group of people.  That's what I aim for when we're making music. I'd much rather be able to go to Indonesia and sing a song that we wrote and have everyone sing the words than be hiding and playing in a little club," Levine said.

Looking at how "Payphone" has been sitting at No. 2 and No. 3 on the Billboard 100 for weeks shows that their sound is loved by old and new fans.
