Nashville's season three premiere was full of drama and suspense and lots of controversy. "That's Me Without You," aired tonight and revealed who Rayna chose to marry... and it isn't who we were hoping for.

Last season was full of cliffhangers and tonight most of them were resolved, for better of for worse. Scarlett decided to leave town, Juliette admitted to cheating on Avery and most importantly, Luke proposed to Rayna and then Deacon topped it by proposing too. This season however, things are going to change.

The episode began on Saturday at 6 p.m. as Rayna stared at her two rings. While contemplating who she was going to choose, she made a call and said, "I'm going to come tonight. I love you." Unfortunately we had to wait the whole hour before discovering which country hunk she picked.

In other news, Juliette is losing her mind during this week's episode. She starts to cry and chop off her hair in anger. Meanwhile, Will takes the stage live at the Bluebird Café in Nashville, while his wife Layla (who now knows that he is gay) watches with disgust. Outside the Bluebird, Luke shows up and punches Deacon in the face.

The show then flashes to 12 hours earlier, where all of the dots are finally connected. Beginning with Rayna, we see her as she wakes up with Luke after accepting his proposal from the previous night. She then talks to her sister and realizes that she has to tell Luke about Deacon's proposal.

Rayna eventually musters up the courage to tell Luke and he walks away. He finally cools down and tells her that he understands why Deacon did what he did... he didn't want to lose her twice. That being said, Luke hopes she picks him and wants her to meet him at a charity event that night.

At Deacon's house, Scarlett packs all of her things and sets out on the road. Just as she is leaving Avery shows up drunk and asks to come with her. Gunnar then pops up in her car and refuses to leave the car until she changes her mind and stay in Nashville. Being the stubborn woman she is, Scarlett starts driving with both boys in her car.

In a switch to Juliette, the powerful singer hits a wall after Avery tells her that he can't look at her face after knowing what she did. Luckily her team gets her to rally and makes her go to an audition for a movie. She pulls herself together long enough to give a heartbreaking performance, which sends her into a deeper depression.

In another change Rayna takes a trip down memory lane and thinks about the highs and lows of her relationship with Deacon. She then stops by Deacon's place and tells him that she can't be with him. He doesn't take no for an answer and holds her hands tight as she cries. He asks her to come to his show and take a risk on him. It is so touching and heartbreaking at the same time.

Back to Will and Layla, the couple has hit their breaking point. They agree to get a divorce, but their plans are quickly squashed when the reality show producer reveals that she knows about Will's sexuality.

After Gunnar and Avery get into a small fight, Scarlett pulls over to make them stop, but when she tries to drive again, her car doesn't start. Once she does get her car fixed her road trip is again put on hold because Avery has fled to the local bar. As Avery drowns his sorrows at the bar he accidentally gets caught up in a bar fight. Gunnar and Scarlett save him and Scarlett begins to drive home... back to Nashville!

In the final Juliette scene this week, the singer continues to break down after her audition. She chops off her hair and feels terrible. Her manager talks her down and tells her she nailed the audition, which makes her a little bit happier. After her doctor comes and checks her out, she starts to feel better, until he pulls her aside. He tells her she can't take pain meds because she is pregnant! This baby better be Avery's child or we will not be OK. A baby with Jeff Fordham would be terrible.

Meanwhile at the Bluebird, Deacon is about to take the stage when Teddy shows up with the girls to watch him perform. Even though Teddy earns major points with Maddie, Deacon is still holding out for an appearance by Rayna.

As Deacon starts to sing, we switch to Luke at his charity event walking the red carpet alone. The reporters hound him with questions about where Rayna is as he tries not to freak out about the fact that she isn't there. Back to Deacon, we experience his live performance, which is powerful and really heartfelt.

Deacon sings about broken promises and breaking someone's heart, which is clearly about Rayna as she steps out of the limo at Luke's charity event. She gets out of the car and kisses him and hearts all over the world broke (including ours). Rayna stands at the bar at the charity looking at Luke, but her eyes make it seem like she knows her heart isn't fully in it.

Even though Luke won this week, it isn't over until they say, "I do." Tune in next week to see what Deacon does to try and win Rayna's heart and steal her back from Luke.
