Matthew McConaughey, notable University of Texas alum, stopped by the Longhorns' football complex on Wednesday to drop in on the team's practice.
The Oscar winner, who graduated from Texas in 1993, brought along his 5-year-old son Levi.
As For the Win reminds us, the Longhorns - who were ranked No. 25 in the first USA Today poll of the season - are just 1-2 on the year so far and have a big game against Kansas on Saturday that they need to win if they want to try to keep their postseason hopes alive.
They could use a little luck, and McConaughey has brought it in the past by attending the 2009 Fiesta Bowl, 2006 Rose Bowl and 2005 Rose Bowl - all of which the Longhorns have won.
During his visit to practice on Wednesday, McConaughey treated the players to a special rendition of his Wolf of Wall Street chant. Maybe that was just the ticket.
"Well I can now say I did the Wolf of Wall Street chant with Matthew McConaughey himself," Texas quarterback Trey Holtz tweeted on Wednesday.
The UT Football recruiting account shared a photo of McConaughey leading the team in the chant to their Twitter page, captioning the snap, "Oscar Winner and UT Austin alum Matthew McConaughey stopped by Texas Football practice this evening! #LonghornNation"
The team also shared a photo of McConaughey and head coach Charlie Strong.
"Special guest at today's practice - Academy Award winner and @UTAustin alum Matthew McConaughey (@McConaughey)," the caption read.
Finally, UT athletics media relations member John Bianco shared one more, noting, "Surprise visitor @Longhorn_FB practice today, Academy Award winner @McConaughey & son, Levi. #HookEmHorns."
Several fans have also reacted to the news of the celeb sighting, including Twitter user @kathylcantu21, who declared, "Y'ALL LOOK HOW HOT MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY LOOKS IN BURNT ORANGE."
