Video game company 2K Sports has released its latest trailer for its upcoming sports game, NBA 2K15.
After landing on the cover of the highly anticipated video game, Oklahoma City Thunder star and MVP champion Kevin Durant steals the show as A Tribe Called Quest cheers him on in the "Momentous"trailer.
\The trailer starts off with the 25-year-old NBA star getting ready to make the shot from downtown. The game developers paid attention to detail as Durant wags his finger in the air while running across the court. Even New York Knick Carmelo Anthony points at his headband after landing the perfect shot.
As reported here, Pharrell Williams is the music curator for the game. The Happy rapper has chosen 27 must-listen tracks for the soundtrack. The award-winning hip-hop artist has picked out Lorde, Lauryn Hill and Public Enemy, just to name a few in the score. This is probably the reason why A Tribe Called Quest's song, "Scenario," works well in this trailer.
As Busta Rhymes dishes out his lyrics, a series of basketball players keep landing three-pointers. We see from different camera angles the athletes slam-dunk the rim. The trailer ends with a bunch of sports stars slapping their hands together, giving each other high-fives.

We also mentioned sports personality host Rachel A. DeMita recently announced NBA2K TV, a live TV show within the videogame. The NBA2K TV host will provide gamers with updates and conduct interviews with noteworthy NBA stars. The highlight show will be streamed into the game about once a week, with a 15-minute running time.
NBA 2K15 will be released Oct. 7, which is also when NBA2K TV will launch.
