Are you that somebody? Well, Alexandra Shipp is in the newly released teaser for Lifetime's new Aaliyah biopic.

The clip was released earlier this week on Lifetime, where the movie will air later this year. Hopefully, the 15-second clip will be enough to hold you diehard fans over until Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B premieres on Lifetime Nov. 15.

In the clip, Shipp dons the typical garbs worn by the late singer and shows off some of her dance moves while wearing baggy jeans, a crop-top and Aaliyah's signature sunglasses:

We personally think Shipp looks like the late singer in this clip, and we could not be more excited about it.

The movie underwent some controversy earlier this year when it was announced that Zendaya Coleman would be taking on the role of the R&B singer. After facing some pretty harsh criticism and scrutiny, however, the Disney star backed out of the project, leaving the door open for Shipp to take over the lead role.

Coleman explained that it was the production and where the project was heading that made her uncomfortable starring in the film.

"I just felt the project wasn't 100 percent there," the singer explained to MTV News. "I feel production-wise everything just felt a little rushed. And I think because she's someone I admire and I love so much, it can't be done halfway, or not to the standards I think it should be done at, so I just decided not to do it."

Shipp will star in the film, which will make its TV debut Nov. 15 on Lifetime.
