During the Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Cincinnati Bearcats game, a football streaker ran across the field, bypassing security, but before he could do anymore damage, Ohio State coach Anthony Schlegel was captured bodyslamming the field-stormer, becoming a viral sensation across Twitter.

The 33-year-old coach attended Highland Park High School, where he became a state wrestling champion. In 2011, the ex-New York Jets player was hired by his alma mater, Ohio State, and named as their assistant strength and conditioning coach. All of sudden, his wrestling skills are put to good use on the field.

SB Nation got the scoop on the unidentified fan who ran across the field during mid-game. While the referees were whistling, calling for a time-out, the running man kept moving until he spotted the former National Foootball League linebacker. The sprinter thought he was going to bypass the coach until Schlegel laid the smackdown on him.

The runner was all smiles until he hit the floor. Notice how the embarrassment wiped that grin off his face. The coach and a security guard escorted the racer, who was keeping his head down in shame:

Not only was the crowd cheering for Schlegel, he was also idolized on Twitter. A few Twitter followers even spoofed the bodyslam through Photoshopped pictures.

@stephensonmc tweeted, "Admit it -- Anthony Schlegel's 'Rock Bottom' is so gratifying because he did it to a fan wearing a visor."

Even WWE superstar Steve Austin had this to say on his feed, "Props to OSU strength coach Anthony Schlegel. That tackle was worth 5 Buckeye helmet stickers and the game ball."
