The View is turning into one of the most dramatic shows on TV.
A few weeks after reports claimed that Rosie O'Donnell had a feud with new co-host Nicolle Wallace, the comedienne has now taken to fighting with longtime host Whoopi Goldberg.
According to MailOnline, Rosie and Whoopi got heated after O'Donnell explained she was passionate about the "Hot Topic" of spanking and that she wanted to discuss it on the show. But when Whoopi cut Rosie off at the producer's request to go to a commercial break, Rosie was livid.
During the break, Rosie took the microphone the ladies use to engage with the audience, but instead used it to speak directly to Whoopi. She told her fellow co-host that she "didn't appreciate" what she had done and that it "hurt my feelings" and she was "very upset by it."
Audience members could tell Whoopi didn't want to discuss the issue, as she kept telling her co-host, "This isn't the time for this, Rosie."
"Well, I just don't appreciate you saying that you were going to do something and not doing it," Rosie fired back at the 52-year-old. "It makes me upset and I just don't want to have to go through this."
When O'Donnell wouldn't let the matter go, the producers got involved, saying, "F--- it, I told you to leave it alone and you just don't want to listen. If you want to go there Rosie, I will damn it. I'm really sick of your s---!"
But it looks like the matter was dropped when producers rushed over to the ladies to prep them on their next segment before going live.
Tensions on the series have been running high for all the co-hosts, but a rep for the series told the (New York) Daily News, that the interaction was a misunderstanding.
"They had a misunderstanding and an exchange," Lauri Hogan, spokeswoman for the show, explained to the news site. "They talked it out and they were back to business as usual."
Despite reports that Rosie is looking to leave the series, the news site said she plans to stay on at least until her one-year contract is up.
