Chelsea Clinton Compared To Kate Middleton As She Leaves Hospital Making First Post-Baby Debut [SEE PHOTOS]

Chelsea Clinton was all smiles when she made her post-baby debut leaving Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC on Monday, Sept. 29 after giving birth on Sept. 26 to a baby girl whom she named Charlotte.

According to US Weekly the new mother, along with her husband, Marc Mezvinsky, and the new grandparents, Bill and Hillary Clinton posed for the cameras as they walked out of the hospital to go home, just as Kate Middleton and Prince William did last year with their son, Prince George.

Clinton, 34, glowed as she walked down the hospital steps wearing a quite similar dress to Kate Middleton's blue polka dot dress when she gave birth to Prince George in July 2013. Clinton wore a blue and white dress while holding baby Charlotte, just as Middleton wore a Jenny Packham dress when she held Prince George outside of St. Mary's Hospital in London, England.

First-time mom Chelsea revealed that her new daughter was born via Twitter Saturday, Sept. 27. "Marc and I are full of love, awe and gratitude as we celebrate the birth of our daughter, Charlotte Clinton Mezvinsky," she shared adding the photo below on her next tweet.

"At 7:03 PM on September 26th, we finally met Charlotte," she wrote. "We're in love."

Clinton tweeted a new statement as she left the hospital. "Marc & I are very grateful to the drs, nurses & staff @lenoxhill for their excellent care!"

Bill and Hillary released a statement about their first granddaughter's birth. "We are blessed, grateful, and so happy to be the grandparents of a beautiful girl," the Clintons said. "We are thrilled to be with our daughter and her husband as they welcome their daughter into the world. Chelsea is well and glowing. Marc is bursting with pride. Charlotte's life is off to a good start."
