Could Kate Middleton really be pregnant with twins? Will Prince George have not one but two siblings? According to PEOPLE, Middleton is expected to give birth sometime this spring and she may be having two babies.
The William Hill betting firm revealed that they have received close to 200 bets with people who believe that the 32-year-old, wife of Prince William will give birth to twins.
A spokesman shared that the bets were "a significant gamble" that was made in York.
The bet that Middleton would give birth to twins quickly dropped 20:1 to 9:1 in just 75 minutes Monday evening.
The bookmaker says betting ended when a series of new accounts were opened. One person betting wanted to bet, $325 which would be more than 20 times the average bet.
"We have had a load of unexpected bets including a large number of new accounts – there could well be something in this," William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams explained.
The betting firm has also noted that people are hoping that Kate will name her baby Elizabeth if she has a girl, and James if it's a boy.
