Before Justified arrives for its final season 6 on FX, and Sons of Anarchy heading towards its last, there is one central actor caught in the crossfire. Walton Goggins discusses having to say goodbye to Boyd Crowder and living a "civilian life" afterwards.

In our recent recap of Sons of Anarchy, the Shield actor returned to the motorcycle crime/drama as the transgender prostitute, Venus Van Dam. Fans will definitely be talking the surprising moment when venus and Tigs (Kim Coates) share a romantic kiss.

Goggins made a name for himself as Shane Vendrell onThe Shield. When the show ended, the 42-year-old actor jumped back with Justified as Boyd, which has one more season left. Because he and showrunner Kurt Sutter knew each other since their days onThe Shield, they reunited on SOA, which is currently releasing its last episodes.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the Django Unchained actor gave his advice to the SAMCRO cast about saying farewell to their show, "I told them to really, really give yourself a lot of space because the transition from that life to the civilian life is very difficult. And it is a grieving that may not hit you for six months."

Originally, Goggins had turned down the role of Boyd because he didn't want to return to the crime genre. Once the Machete Kills character had spoken with his Scream 2 co-star, he felt ready to dive into the role of Boyd Crowder. Both leading men earned critical praise for their roles and each received a Emmy nomination.

The Predators actor continues, "When you no longer put on those cuts or ride that bike with your friends on that television show in that way, you will feel sadness that you know not. It took me a long time...it took me a year of feeling that."

As reported here, Sam Elliott (The Big Lebowski) and Garret Dillahunt (Raising Hope) have signed on for Justified's season 6.

Justified will return sometime in 2015. Readers, are you excited to see Boyd Crowder again?
