Every movie studio is trying to recreate the success of Marvel's Cinematic Universe, but perhaps one of the better approaches is coming from Universal Pictures. With a series of monster movie reboots coming out soon, the studio is hoping to create its own series of connected movies. The first evidence of this comes from reshoots on Dracula Untold, which allegedly connects the 2014 origin movie to the upcoming releases.

We're not going to knock any movie studio for copying Marvel's idea. It's incredibly successful and also pretty fun for fans. Connecting these new monster movie reboots is sure to be entertaining in the least, and from the looks of Dracula Untold, we're in for some quality movies.

You know we've been showing some love to Dracula Untold. Check out our previous coverage of a new trailer for the film right HERE!

According to Badass Digest, recent reshoots on the film (which is set for release on Oct. 10) will link the movie to the Universal Monster series. Details of the reshoots haven't been revealed, so we'll have to see how the connection plays out by actually seeing the film.

Check out the Tweet that announced this news:

The first official movie in this new series of monster film reboots is The Mummy, but now we can technically add Dracula Untold to the list.

This is exciting for many reasons, the most obvious being we'll be getting great new monster movies and another reason being that we can see an Avengers type film with these iconic monsters, too!
