Mario Lopez Slept With Famous Pop Star, Still Sees Her! What Will His Wife Say?

Mario Lopez has apparently been getting a little 'Extra' on the side.

The married hunky tv host appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote his new book Just Between Us. The book is filled with juicy tidbits Lopez has never revealed before to the public...until now!

One of the scandalous pieces of info we learn is that the actor once had a one night stand with a famous pop star in Las Vegas!

When Ellen asked Mario about the secret rendezvous, he would not budge.

"I'm trying not to give too much away without giving too much away... it was maybe six or seven years ago... eight years ago?" he said.

Ellen kept pressing the Saved by the Bell actor on if he has interviewed the lady in question since their encounter, but Mario wouldn't give anything away. "Out of respect for [my wife] and out of respect for this person, I'm a gentleman, I don't like to drop names, so I don't want to go there."

When Ellen started guessing which pop star it could be she threw out the names Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Celine Dion. However, Mario didn't miss a beat and joked "Barbra Streisand!"

Mario's new book is a way to be more open with the public about who he is and where he came from. He explained to Ellen that age had a lot to do with it.

"When a man turns 40, it's an important time to pause and reflect on how he got there, and to make a mature plan for the future, and what better way than to write it down?" he said. "People have asked me a bunch of stuff over the years... it's stuff I could really get into in the book as opposed to having the opportunity on TV. When I decided I was going to do something like this, I just said, 'Alright, I'm going to be unfiltered and just put everything out there."
