The 2014 MLB regular season is officially over. Now, several teams will compete to make it to the championship rounds!
The Kansas City Royals battle the Los Angeles Angels in Game 2 of the ALDS on Friday, October 3rd at 9:37 p.m. EST at Angel City of Anaheim in California. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Friday night baseball game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
Kansas City currently leads the series 1-0.
Wrapping-up the regular season, the Royals snagged the No. 9 spot in ESPN.com's official MLB power rankings with a 89-73 winning record:
"They're in the playoffs for the first time since 1985, although they did fall one win short of tying the Tigers for the AL Central title. Somehow, they did this despite finishing last in the AL in home runs and walks. Credit their starting pitching (fourth in the AL in ERA), that great bullpen trio, team defense and a league-leading 153 steals." -- David Schoenfield (@dschoenfield),SweetSpot
Meanwhile, the Dodgers finished at the No. 1 spot with an 98-64 winning record (out of 30 teams):
"The Angels won the AL West by 10 games over the A's. They also had the best record in the majors (98-64), a 20-win improvement from last year." -- ESPN.com
The Tigers and Orioles are also currently competing in the ALDS.
