If the last clip from the new Aaliyah Lifetime biopic was too short to sustain your cravings for the new film, we have you covered, as a new trailer was just released. The film, titled, Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B, has just rolled out a brand new clip starring Alexandra Shipp. However, if you thought that you would hear Shipp singing as the late singer in the new teaser, we are sorry to disappoint.

While we don't get to hear any of Alexandra's vocals in the trailer, we do get to see her show off some more of her dance moves as Iggy Azalea's song "Goddess" plays in the background. The verdict on whether or not or not Shipp will be putting her voice to some of Aaliyah's signature songs like "One in A Million," "More Than A Woman" and "Rock The Boat," in the new biopic, has also just been answered.

According to Rap up, Lifetime was unable to get the rights to use any of the R&B singer's catalog, so sadly none of our favorite songs will be even featured in the movie. This is also why Azalea's song in used the trailer instead of one of Aaliyah's tracks.

According to Stereogum.com, the film is based on the biography of the late R&B singer titled, Aaliyah: More Than A Woman, which was written by Christopher Farley.

The film has been pretty controversial since the project was announced last year, as Aaliyah's family have been unhappy with the network going forward with the film without their permission. Also Zendaya Coleman, who was originally set to star in the film backed out after feeling that the film's producers weren't giving 100 percent to the project.

The film will premiere on Lifetime on November 15.
