After months of teasing, the premiere of the CW's The Flash will finally land on its premiere date. At MStars, we have been truly enthusiastic for the superhero TV show, ever since the Arrow spinoff was officially announced. Here are 5 reasons why we are so excited to see The Flash make its way on television again.

5) The Special Effects

Times have changed since the original The Flash aired on CBS. To kick things off, the Weather Wizard will be the first metahuman Barry will face. Things are only going to get tougher for Barry, especially if the Reverse-Flash is involved.

4) Dr. Harrison's Secret

A major plot twist will be revealed about Dr. Harrison (Tom Cavanagh)'s true motives. Whose side will Caitlin choose when the truth comes out? And what does it have to do with parallel universes, like in Flashpoint?

3) John Wesley Shipp

Shipp also played the Flash in the original CBS superhero drama. Old school meets new school as Shipp and Gustin will share screen time together, marking the first time two scarlet speedsters are in the same room together. Not only is Shipp returning, Amanda Pays is also back as Dr. Tina McGee, but this time, she's the big bad.

2) Prison Break Reunion

The main leads of Prison Break, Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller, will reunite playing as the Flash's baddies, Heat Wave and Captain Cold. Could this be the start of the super villain team, The Rogues?

1) Crossover

This is the episode where characters from both TV superhero shows meet. In the two part episode, Ollie Queen (Stephen Amell) and Barry will end up crossing paths. Just like in the comics, the heroes will fight each other before working together.
