The 2012 Olympics London competitors and attendants came together for a time of international unity as they sang to Beatle's "All You Need Is Love". International and British rooters joined along to the beat on the Saturday where Britain took home gold medals within a span of 44 minutes.
Now dubbed the "Super Saturday" to honor the British Olympic team's gold medal victories, participants recalled the time of song as a song for all countries.
"They were awesome for all of us. Not just the British," US long-jumper Will Clave said to the Associated Press.
The Olympics is a very competitive sport where the athletes trained for years arrive compete for a short time. It was nice to see all countries come together for a moment.
