It's been reported that Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Tom Johnson was tased by cops at a Minneapolis nightclub early Sunday morning.
TMZ acquired a copy of the police report, which states that Johnson was allegedly causing trouble at the Seven Steakhouse Sushi Ultralounge Skybar when multiple security guards and Minneapolis police offers reportedly asked Johnson to leave the property, but he refused to comply.
The cops on the scene initially attempted to spray Johnson with a department-issued pepper spray, but when that had no effect on the 6'3", 288-pound athlete, they decided to use a stun gun on him instead.

Johnson was then arrested and taken to the Hennepin County Jail, according to CBS Minnesota, where he was charged with suspicion of trespassing and disorderly conduct. Both charges facing him are misdemeanors.
According to TMZ, Johnson was released on $78 bail.
"We are aware of the matter involving Tom Johnson," the Vikings said in a statement, as reported by ESPN. "We are continuing to gather information and will have further comment at the appropriate time."
Johnson's agent, Bardia Ghahremani, maintains his client's innocence. He told ESPN, "Upon clearing Mr. Johnson's name, we will move forward with the appropriate legal action."
ESPN is also reporting that, according to a USA Today database, Johnson's arrest is the 47th by a Vikings player since 2000, which is the most for any team in the league.
Johnson is in his first season with the Vikings. He spent the previous two years playing for the New Orleans Saints, where he amassed a combined 43 tackles in 28 game appearances. In five games so far with the Vikings, he has seven tackles and two sacks.
