'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies' Movie Character Poster, Release Date, Trailer News [PHOTO] Bilbo Is Surrounded By Destruction

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies is the third and final film in Peter Jackson's latest J.R.R. Tolkien movie franchise, and fans can't wait for the last chapter!  While we anxiously wait for the December 17, 2014, release date, this week we were treated to the first character movie poster featuring none other than Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman). Clearly we need to see our favorite, leading character first and foremost, and this new movie poster is giving us all chills! Check it out below.

We're most likely going to get a whole slew of posters, especially considering the amount of main characters in the movie series. Perhaps they'll group the Dwarves together, but that still leaves 4 other armies worth of characters, pretty much!

Not only do we get to see a determined and battered Bilbo in the poster, we also see a glimpse into the action and the aftermath of the film. Surrounding the brave Hobbit is destruction and fire, which will surely fill our screens this winter when the movie hits theaters.
