Watch 'Star Wars Rebels' Episode 1 “Droids In Distress” Online One Week In Advance Of Disney XD Premiere

After the great success of The Disney Channel's premiere of the TV movie Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion, kicking off the start of the new animated series, Disney XD has released the new show's first episode, "Droids in Distress," a week early online. That's right, you can watch the first episode of the brand new series right now on Watch Disney XD, ahead of the actual premiere date! Just make sure not to spread spoilers for those waiting to watch it on TV.

Originally set for premiere on October 13, "Droids in Distress" is a 30-minute long episode that follows the hour-long Spark of Rebellion movie special that debuted last week. This is technically the first episode of the brand new series, which was recently renewed for a second season ahead of the film's debut.

The rebels intercept a shipment of weapons intended for the Empire and accidentally end up hosting a pair of droids.
