Michael Strahan, Marianna Hewitt, Nicole Murphy: Former NFL Star and Makeup Blogger Spotted on First Date Since Broken Engagement

Michael Strahan was spotted out and about in New York City on Monday night with a new woman, TMZ is reporting.

Actually, make that two women.

The former New York Giants defensive end and current co-host on ABC's Live! with Kelly and Michael was caught on tape by TMZ stepping out of his Bentley and into the Mercer Hotel and was followed by two ladies: a blonde and a brunette. According to TMZ, it was clear to onlookers that the blonde was just a friend. The brunette, however – identified as makeup blogger Marianna Hewitt – appeared to be a potential love interest.

"In the vid you see her start to hold Michael's arm (like a gf would)," TMZ says of Hewitt, "but then quickly stop herself."

If last night's rendezvous was, indeed, a date, then it would make it the first public relationship for Strahan since splitting with long-time fiancé Nicole Murphy earlier this summer. 

The former couple confirmed the news of their split on Aug. 1, just a day before Strahan was set to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

"They love each other very much, but with the distance and work schedule it has been hard to maintain the relationship," Strahan's rep told People at the time.

Strahan and Murphy began dating in 2007 and had nine children between them, though none together as a couple.

Even if Strahan appears to be over the split, it's obvious that some fans still aren't.

Who cares if Michael Strahan dated 100 beautiful women...they couldn't compare to Nicole Murphy!
