Rapper Wiz Khalifa took to Twitter to reveal his drastic new look: Bright, purple hair. Though it's a bold move, he is not the first celeb to rock a purple 'do. In fact, there's a long list of celebrities who have sported purple hair at some point in their career. Wiz documented the three-step process via Twitter, going from black, to blonde, to purple.

Step One

To achieve a bright shade of purple, Wiz's colorist had to bleach his hair first.

Step Two

Next, she applies the purple dye. Wiz gives her a shout out on Twitter, mentioning her in his tweet.

Step Three

Wiz finally shares the final result of his wild hair-dying experience, which he appropriately captioned, "Purple Rain."

Could the recent break up with Amber Rose have been the cause of this extreme makeover? Possibly. But when it comes to Wiz, you never know. One thing is certain: His neon purple hair will definitely pop on stage during his "Blacc Hollywood Big Secret Tour," which begins on October 24.

According to Vibe, the Taylor Gang leader will begin the 20-date tour at Santa Ana, California's Observatory and then wrap up at Chicago's House of Blues in November.

The tour comes in support of Blacc Hollywood, Wiz's first album to debut at no. 1 on the Billboard charts.

He recently headlined the third annual Under The Influence tour, which featured special guests Jeezy, Ty Dolla $ign, and Rich Homie Quan.

Tickets for the "Blacc Hollywood Big Secret" tour will be available for the purchase on Ticketmaster starting Saturday, October 4 at 10am.
