What does Lady Gaga have in common with Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili? We’re not really sure.
So why were the San Antonio Spurs stars hanging out with the pop icon? And why were they all posing together with the Larry O’Brien trophy? We don’t really know the answers to those questions either.
But we do know that Gaga is in Berlin to perform later today, and the Spurs have been in town to do some sightseeing and team bonding in between international exhibition games.
In any case, Gaga first shared an Instagram photo of herself with the NBA Championship trophy.

The Spurs and NBA were so sweet to me last night! They even let me hold their championship trophy! I felt like such a lady!
Then she revealed that Ginobili is her favorite player.

So, ok, it’s all starting to come together a bit – she’s an NBA fan. But she’s also from New York, so why the allegiance to the Spurs? We may never know.
In the meantime, Gaga posted one last photo, giving a quick shoutout to Parker.

And what a treat when Tony Parker came back to see us, he was such a gentlemen, we were all laughing and he told us some great stories. A champion from the inside out! Thanks for the great time guys, I wish you a great season!
The defending NBA champs took on Alba Berlin on Wednesday and dropped the game, 94-93, on a last-second buzzer-beater. Thankfully for the Spurs, the game has no bearing on their upcoming NBA season, but it does give Alba Berlin bragging rights to know that, not only did they defeat an NBA team, they beat the defending champs.
