Olivia Palermo On Starting Her Own Fashion Line: "When The Timing Is Right To Do It, Then I Will"

As one of the most popular face in Hollywood these days, fans would run towards the idea of actress Olivia Palermo launching her own clothing line. However when will this happen? The actress dishes to The Edit about any upcoming fashion projects.

"I have my hands full at the moment. I would love to start my own [fashion] house but it's not the right time," she said. "I feel like I can do it in stages and when the timing is right to do it, then I will."

Palermo has her own fashion blog and website, OliviaPalermos.com which showcases the latest in fashion, beauty and travel. She gives fashion advice and tips along with her and her editorial teams fashion picks that are trending at the moment.

"I only want to team up and design with people who I have a solid relationship with," she said regarding her show collection partner and Aquazzura designer Edgardo Osorio. "With this, we wanted to create the shoes every woman wants in her wardrobe. Edgardo and I both like a little toe cleavage, and [the heels] had to be high. The heel is actually the highest he's ever done, so it was a bit of an experiment, but I think it came out very well, they're still walkable. You don't want to waddle in the street."

She coins her fashion sense as running thru her blood, she explains that her mother and grandmother never leave the house without being "100 percent presentable." This was something that was engraved in the actresses' mind from a young age.

What's her quick fashion advice for anyone trying to be as trendy as her? Put on a belt! "I tend to go with the detailing. I have endless skinny belts. My favorite ones are from [high street labels] Whistles and Reiss, actually"
