R&B sensation, Jhene Aiko, has been taking the world by storm with her soulful sound and incredibly heartfelt songs. The singer/songwriter is mostly known for her smash hit, "The Worst," which spent 20 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart and peaked at No. 43.
Time describes her recently debuted LP, "Souled Out," as an album that "transforms heartbreak, tragedy and existential crises into a dreamy escape," and they couldn't be more right. "Souled Out" rapidly reached No. 1 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.
With so much success in the music industry, Aiko has decided to experiment with fashion. According to Global Grind, she recently shared with fans that she will be collaborating with Lovers + Friends on a clothing line. The Holiday collection will be available exclusively at Revolve. Aiko posted a few sneak peek photos of the collection via Instagram.
This is not the only collaboration the singer is working on at the moment. Aiko recently shared a photo via Instagram hinting at a collaboration with LA-based jewelry line, Luv Aj. The company shared the same photo with caption, "Super stoked to be working with the amazing @jheneaiko on a little jewelry collab to celebrate her brand new album #SouledOutMerch #comingsoon"
Jhene followed up today (Oct. 9), by posting photos of the new "Souled Out Merch" announcing the line will be available on October 15 at JheneAiko.com.
Well, we certainly can't wait!
In other news, multi-brand shopping app, "Spring," has had some of the fashion industry's top designers on board to sell their goods on its social-driven platform, including, Suno, Prabal Gurung and Band of Outsiders. But now it's about to change the game by partnering with its first celebrity on a shop. The collaboration is with, none other than, Beyoncé!
According to Fashionista, starting on Thursday, you can purchase "Yoncé" branded merchandise straight through the Spring app. "Because "Yoncé" lyrics look great on sweatshirts," they created a green one that reads "Cake by the Pound," a popular lyric from Queen Bee's "Partition" hit. The goods run from $25 for a beanie to $65 for a sweatshirt.
Stay tuned for possible "Surfboard" and "Watermelon" branded items coming soon!
