NYCC 2014 Spoliers: Hayley Atwell's Peggy Carter Makes 'Marvel's Agent Carter' Debut! [WATCH]

During New York Comic Con 2014, attendees at the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. panel witnessed the debut of an exclusive clip of Marvel's Agent Carter. Caught by surprise, the cheering audience got an exciting taste of Hatwell Atwell in her leading role as Peggy Carter.

As we mentioned here, Peggy (Atwell) has officially returned home after serving her time in World War II. But from the looks of things, based on the season two premiere of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., trouble is still brewing. And based on her NYCC debut, Carter is going to dive headfirst into action as she returns to duty.

We previously reported how we were very excited for the East Coast convention. In our MStars Twitter feed, we took a snapshot of the long line of attendees waiting to get inside the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. panel. We may have waited standing, with our feet aching, but the payoff was incredible.

Should we have expected something about Agent Carter when a free poster was handed out to the gathering crowd? If you noticed on the back of the poster, the officially premiere will take place some time in January 2015.

As transcribed by Newsarama, Clark Gregg (Agent Coulson) asked Marvel's Head of Television Jeph Loeb, "Can we show something from Agent Carter?"

Despite Loeb saying, "They started shooting a week ago!" an exclusive clip was presented afterwards.

In the scene, we are introduced to Carter, Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper), and Edwin Jarvis (James D'Arcy). After a quick round of quirky humor, we jump right into the action of Carter kicking butt.
