‘Duck Dynasty’ Star John Luke Robertson Is Engaged To Mary Kate McEacharn

It's been a busy couple of months for the Duck Dynasty cast and now there is even more to celebrate. The Robertson family currently has one child competing this season on Dancing With the Stars and now one of their children is getting married. John Luke Robertson is officially engaged.

With Sadie Robertson competing on season 19 of ABC's Dancing With the Stars, the Duck Dynasty crew has been in the news a lot more, and now John Luke is getting in on the action. On Saturday, October 11, John Luke turned 19-years-old, but that wasn't the only thing he celebrated. The reality star popped the question to his long time girlfriend Mary Kate McEacharn on his birthday, Us Weekly confirmed.

"I am so excited to marry my best friend. I know my parents married young as well, and they have always been examples of what 'could be' to me," John Luke told Us Weekly. "Fast-forward 22 years and they are more in love than ever, and I hope Mary Kate and I are the same way in the years to come. God has truly blessed us."

John Luke is Willie and Korie's oldest son. According to the publication the whole family was in town to celebrate John Luke's birthday and the engagement, including his little sister Sadie and his adopted sister Rebecca Robertson.

The bride-to-be, Mary Kate posted a photo of her and her new fiancé, saying, "Happy birthday to the boy I'm going to marry." John Luke's sister Rebecca also posted a picture with the newly engaged couple writing, "She said YES @missmarymcmcmc so excited to be your sister." The groom-to-be posted the same picture as his fiancée Mary Kate, but in color simply writing, "She. Said. Yes." The picture shows the young couple with big smiles as Mary Kate shows off her engagement ring and John Luke holds a sign that reads, "Future Mrs. Robertson."
