It's finally that time of year - hockey season!
The Buffalo Sabres battle it out on the ice against the Anaheim Ducks in Week 2 of the regular season on Monday, October 13 at 3:00 p.m. EST at the First Niagara Center in New York. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Monday afternoon hockey game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
Following Opening Week of the 2014 regular season, the Sabres snag the meager No. 30 spot in Sean Fitzgerald's official NHL power rankings for BlackhawkUp.com:
"The great debate in Buffalo is to TANKR or NOT TO TANK. Regardless fo the Sabres team philosophy, they are going to be very bad. Last season they were 21-51-10."
Meanwhile, the Ducks currently hold the No. 6 spot (out of 30 total teams):
"The Ducks got better in the off-season by adding Ryan Kesler to the mix of Corey Perry and Ryan Getzlaf. The real question mark for the Ducks is ther inexperienced goalie duo of Frederik Andersen and John Gibson. Can Andersen and Gibson be a Stanley Cup winning duo?"
The Sabres currently hold a 2-0-2 record - as for the Ducks, 2-1-1.
The game will be broadcasted live on local channels MSG and PT25, but fans can also listen in on the radio at WGR 550, WCMF, WNIO, and KLAA
