Eminem knows just how to please his fans.
The infamous Detroit emcee will release a new greatest hits/compilation album on November 24, 2014. Shady XV will feature some new music from the "Rap God," along with a second disc including tunes from a slew of up-and-coming Shady Records artists - plus a few old school favorites. There's Slaughterhouse, Bad Meets Evil, D12, and Yelawolf just to name a few.
The 41-year-old industry mogul remains very hush-hush on the highly-anticipated upcoming record. According to fellow collaborator (and longtime friend) Royce Da 5'9, Em won't even give many details to those actually involved with the project!
Loyal Stans should expect a viral leak anytime soon.
But that doesn't mean the MMLP2 superstar's leaving everyone in the dark. On Monday (October 13), he shared this awesome sneak-peek video on Instagram:
eminem: "Back to basics! Here's the cover for #SHADYXV out 11/24."
As several MstarsNews readers probably already know, Eminem references the legendary horror villian Jason Voorhees in several of his songs. Shady also enjoys flaunting a similar hockey mask-inspired getup onstage... at least several years ago.
"Back to basics," indeed! How many fans are pumped? Well, Twitter's currently abuzz:
@SIimMathers: "Probably my favorite album cover by Eminem so far."
@owen_timmins: "@Eminem new album cover could not have done better #SHADYXV."
@am_rizzle: "Eminem's album cover for #SHADYXV made me so happy, I want to cryyy."
@Jeronimo19946: "The album cover for "shady xv" looks dope! Can't wait to get that CD next month. #Eminem."
@BEHAPPYSINGING: "Eminem's new album cover. #goddammit #crazysh*t."
So - is Eminem preparing to shock fans by going back to his rawer image, maybe even with some surprise live performances?
